I Don’t Wear A Lot Of Color
It’s true, I don’t. Who wants brights and bolds when you can have whites and neutrals? It’s not that I don’t like color, it can be fun, I just prefer the softer shades. Maybe it’s the Earthy hippy in me, craving bare feet and blue jeans.
Anywho, I found this multicolor sweater…
…it’s from TJ Maxx, a brand called On The Road, which does not have an Instagram account — not a solid strategic purchase on my part. But what do you know, I loved the colors. I saw it with jeans and some white sneakers, but for the sake of fashion, I had some fun with it for this shoot.
Let’s talk about the boots, they are vintage Frye boots and I LOVE them. I bought them at this great thrift/vintage store in Cambridge, MA called the Garment District. My mom had them resoled for me, what a gem, and they will always have a home in my closet.
Also courtesy of my dear mum is my skirt, it was hers. You’d be surprised to know that it’s actually a skort (lol!) and it’s VERY comfortable. The brand is “Erez Sport” and yes, they have it on sites like Poshmark, get one, they’re form-fitting, and again, comfortable.
Finally, let’s talk about the details. The bag is from Facebook Marketplace. It’s actually an insert to a clear handbag, but the pouch-like clutch, like this Bottega Veneta, is so hot right now, I went for just the insert as a clutch. Finally, I sugared myself up with some Canvas Style hoops, gold bangle-like bracelets, a skull bracelet I bought at the place I get my eyebrows threaded, and Foster Grant sunglasses.
