Casual Leopard Print
Animal print is everywhere these days — shoes, skirts, sweaters, tops — everywhere. Although the trend for Fall 2019 shows layers of prints, leopard on zebra on snake, I am still a simple girl, so I kept the mixing to a minimal.
I am the queen of white tees, this being a long sleeve, but it really makes no difference. I paired the satin leopard print skirt with a Pact long-sleeved white t-shirt and spiced it up with a Lysande khadi wire headband as a belt. What I love about this is that I can make it into many different shapes to add a dimensional feature to my outfit.
The bag I chose is a vintage one given to me by my grandmother. It’s a little rough around the edges, but I love the color and the geometry of its shape. Although I have not mastered print mixing in this outfit, the combination of the Lysande headband (as a belt) and the geometry of the bag sets this outfit apart.
If I am queen of the white tee, I am also the queen of the white sneaker. Here I wore the classic canvas white Vans, as a true Huntington Beach local, which I am only playing the part of.
I accessorized with a Calvin Klein hat, that I originally purchased for a hill-billy costume and some gold earrings.
